All instruments begin with the front end hardware. Without
accurate measurements, responsive communications and bug free operation
you don't have an instrument. |

We
can design custom I/O
interfaces to your sensors. Whether they are themocouples, RTD's, strain
gauges, optical sensors, LVDT's, thermistors, PH sensors, infared
detector arrays or proton precession magnetometers we have experience
designing inputs circuits to measure them.

|
Microprocessor and DSP based digital circuitry, PLD's, and FPGA's are
the building blocks of the modern instrument.

Designing hardware for
automation and instrumentation is a little different. Our engineers have to worry about
things like how input circuits react to 3000V surges, accidental
attachment of 240VAC and continuous high common mode voltages.

|
We've designed proprietary and TCP/IP protocol based communications
networks. Our systems can communicate
to 100's of nodes over miles of cable, in harsh,
electrically noisy environments.

Modeling,
Layout, prototyping and assembly. We use Protel, ORCAD, PADS and
PCAD for design and Multisim for circuit modeling.
